Well! THAT didn't take long!!! The visit with state help! What a joke! My hubby has 0 income at the moment! My children only receive close to $300.00US a month total for child support...for financial help....they want to take the child support and give me $100.00US to live on for a month! Now tell me! How is that right! That don't add up and sure don't even come close to paying last months rent and this months rent $1200.00 and other bills!
I have been maintaining composure these last few weeks....trying to be the strong one holding the family together.....I broke down and sobbed like a baby in their office! The lady got up and went out of the office to bring me back a tissue!!!!!! WTH Offering a tissue to someone crying...is their way of telling ya to shut the hell up I don't wanna hear it! I am so lost here! And anything I make selling my art will only cover a portion of overdrafts in our bank!!! ARRRRRRRRGH!!!
Dear God what more do I need to do???!!!!!

Hey sweetheart, I hope you've read some of my miserable blog! We are going thru so much of the same kind of stuff that it's hard to believe... :(
I wouldn't wish it on anyone, darlin', but I know for sure that you of all people will come out the other side of this situation smiling... :)
You are one tough cookie and can get through this! Hang on in there darlin', and keep up with your advertising campaign - do not apologise! Heck, Nance, if you can't use your own blog to try & raise some funds, then there's something wrong! Besides, your work is wonderful and should be reaching a wider audience - you never know who might find your blog, huh? I'm just so sorry that I can't be buying it all!!
Great idea to set up the separate blog - I've found it to be a godsend. It helps to look back and see how things have changed, and they will! Hang on in there, girl, we're all right behind you. :) You know where I am if you just need to talk...
Loads of Love & Big Hugs,

Love and prayers always coming your way Nancy.

Oh, Nancy, life does throw us these curves, yes, my daughter a college offer in based on a scholarship that was going to cover all her living expenses there, and right when we get the tuition bill they inform us that they are cutting the aid in half. now I have to fight it and send in all the documentation. argh! they are way expensive and she would have gone to another school. anyway, I grew up paycheck to paycheck and less, both my hubby and I did and somehow, our parents always pulled through. everyone has these times in their life financially. I would stick with your art income if I were you. you are on a roll and though it may not cover enough right now, you are establishing yourself and you will eventually reap the rewards of that. In addition, you can work at home doing what you love and what you are so talented in. also, you can do your postage thru paypal too I think and print it out. hoping lots of sales come your way. keep going! I am sure you are establishing a customer base and ebay probably gets more hits that a website. also check etsy b/c I don't think they have the fees like ebay. xxoo Lia
thank you ladies! I really didnt expect to see any comments here lmao....i am glad i have your support and friendship to get thru these times as i will always be there all of you!
I wish you all the best! and lots of prayers...
and Lia the best to your daughter...like you say all things have a way of working out...and yes some how my parents managed with 4 kids..and feeding us alot of hotdogs lol....in my familys case alot of ramen noodles lol...funding school is so hard and theres so many people with talents..and alot end up taking a second rate job which is sad...my hubby has 4 student loans to pay off one of which is 19,000...hmm a nice down payment on a home that would be hu lol...my parents are now in their early 80's and things are so much different now and they look down on some of the things we do...i wish they would look back and remember when they first moved into their house and had only a small bed and a box for a kitchen table and two crates for chairs...we do the best we can with what we have...they are still after me to do things their way...i am so much different from them but i know they only want whats good for me and my family..its just the way they say things that hurt...so my hubby taught me to look at it differently and read thru what they are actually saying and hear what they are intending to say...i love you all much love prayers and hugs!
